It's been a great 3.5 years of Guilder-drawing. I'll kind of miss this gallery, but i'm sure we'll all enjoy seeing the art appear in the new gallery for the new Guilder Drawing Project. I've even taken on a more complicated style for the new stuff.

Notes for those browsing this gallery:

1. The simplistic style and flat appearance of the art is intentional. Do Not comment just to tell me it would look better if shaded, or if all the legs were drawn.

2. The circle around the creatures does not make them Neopets. Circles have been around longer than the internet and their use does not signify association with a site overrun by art thieves and chatspeakers.

3. Every character depicted in this gallery is (or was at one time) a member of the Gryphon Guild. I do not own any characters aside from my own personal avatar. Don't go yelling that i've stolen your character...it's annoying. If you have an issue with what's in this gallery, send me a Note. We'll resolve the problem like mature adults.

For about three years now i've been drawing members of the Gryphon Guild, and i'm still at it.
Figured it's about time for a new journal entry, as the old one has been around since 2004.

A few notes on the purpose and contents of this gallery:

1) I do not in any form or fashion own the characters featured here. All characters in my drawings, except for the one of myself, belong to their respective creators. They are here because they are, or were at one point, members of the Gryphon Guild.

2) The quality of these images is low. Limbs are missing, coloration is flat, line style is very simplified...it's all intentional. I do not want artistic critique on the technical aspects of the art featured in this gallery. If you want to see what i'm really capable of, go stare at

Ok...drawn pretty much every Guilder i actually have a desc for. The remaining Guilders either put no desc where i could find one, or the desc is too imcomplete to work from. "Gryphon" really doesn't tell me much.
So...from this point on i'll be doing mostly newbies.

Ok...I said 70 days max...and we're on day 40. I think...never was good at math.
30 days to go. That's ruffly another month.

I've got 265 pics (loaded to this gallery at time of this entry), and...i'm gonna say 15 pics awaiting inking-scanning-coloring. That leaves a grand total of somewhere around 420 to reach my 700 pic goal. I can do it, no doubt of that, but I NEED DESCS!

Chances are a chunk of these pics will be getting updated to correct coloration/form flaws. I'm talking big flaws...like coloring a black phoenix orange. That type of thing.

For now, i'm trying to get all drawn in even an incorrect pic so I can meet my goal. And let's face it...even the flawed pics have their charm.

Oh, and one more thing that's started to get on my nerves from constant repitition:

Drawing the entire Gryphon Guild....or everyone who gives me a desc. I'm drawing almost faster than people post a desc for me. Lucky thing I already know what a large chunk of the members look like.

Anyway, the style is simplistic...so limbs will be missing, detail will be...simplified...and updates will be quite frequent.

Over 700 Guilders in 60-70 days. That's my goal.

Let's mark our calenders and keep watch, shall we?
